Topic: Utilizing Corpora for Second Language Learning & Teaching  

Corpus has been an important tool in linguistics research as well as language learning and teaching.

In this talk, the speaker will share her experience of incorporating corpus resources into second language learning and teaching

by showing a few research studies about how students’ hands-on corpus use (also known as data-driven learning) enhances their language use and idea development in academic writing.

Practical suggestions in implementing corpus into classroom teaching will be discussed as well.
